If your operating system is Windows XP or Windows 2000.  Stop reading this now and download easyvoiprecorder 1.2 for windows XP and Windows 2000

If your operating system is Windows Vista you are in the right place: 

First of all , i ll want to say that this version 1.4 Vista only works on Windows Vista with the UAC control Disabled.

We are working to make easyvoiprecorder works with the UAC (User Access Control) enabled. 

In order to install this new release, you need to achive this.

Brief:

0) Disable de Vista UAC User access control 
1) Download the new Installer of easyvoiprecorder 1.4 beta vista version.
2) Install the apropiated windows vista codecs to allow you to play ogg files.
3) Set the softphone to run in windows xp sp2 compatibility mode

Details:

0) Disable UAC. if you dont know how to do it, please email us and we ll help you.
1) Download the easyvoiprecorder 1.4 version from http://www.easyvoiprecorder.com/download/setup_14.exe
2) Install the new easyvoiprecorder 1.4 (downloaded in step 1)
3) Reboot your computer.
4) Download this codec from http://www.easyvoiprecorder.com/download/codecs.exe
5) Install the codecs. (downloaded in step 4)
6) you are ready to record your conversations
7) Set the softphone to run in windows xp sp2 compatibility mode



   

If you had installed by mistake the easyVoipRecorder 1.2 in your Windows Vista please follow this instruction first. 

Those are the necesary steps to uninstall 1.2 easyvoiprecorder version and install the new easyvoiprecorder 1.4  on windows vista.
